How much heat can it take?
We recommend using it temperatures below 350 degrees Fahrenheit (177 degree Celsius) to protect the pad for long-term use.
Should I use a cleaner?Depending on how dirty your surface it, a cleaning fluid can definitely help out in preventing the pad from getting too full of grime. We recommend 2 parts water or club soda to 1-part vinegar as a cheap and safe option (compared to using synthetic chemicals).
Can I use this on ceramic/porcelain bowls? You can, but you have to be very careful to not scrub too hard and only if you are working to get off long-term, baked on grime (don’t use these for regular cleanings). We recommend heating up the bowl, using cleaning fluid, like the kind described above, and gentle strokes to slowly remove buildup.
