Hot and Cold Therapy Benefits
Use as Ice Therapy
Place the gel pack flat in a freezer for 1.5-2 hours, and wait for 1-2 mins before applying to your body. It is a safe and effective method to reduce swelling, relieve pain and decrease muscle spasms, treat sports injuries.
Used as Heat Therapy
Heat the gel pack by boiling water or by microwave. (Detailed instructions can be seen on the backing of gel pack). Use the heat compress / hot compress to promote blood circulation which helps for sprains, strains, stiffness, muscle pain, soreness, menstrual cramps, spasms, arthritis, etc.
Caution:
Never apply Cold therapy longer than 30 mins at one time.
Do not apply over open wounds.
Immediately discontinue heating if gel pack expands like a balloon as the pack is overheated.
People with nerve damage in the area being treated should consult a doctor.
Please make the gel distribute evenly before freezing/heating.
